GOP Plantation Income
Our prime product, Green Oil, is extracted from Millettia seeds, the oil can be used for the generation of green electricity – which can be sold to the local grid. There is also significant demand for biofuels in the area. There isn’t currently sufficient production to meet the growing demand for electricity; this situation will keep electricity tariffs on a steady rise.

We will intercrop with a leguminous ground cover which will produce nitrogen to assist soil fertility as well as provide a cash crop in selling the highly priced seed and hay, this also saves the cost of expensive weedicides normally used for weed control.
The seed residues left after the oil extraction process is a valuable livestock and fish food which is in high demand due to its high protein, nutrition, and digestibility levels.
The Prunings will be converted into high grade organic fertilisers for which there is an ever expanding market.
High grade honey produced by the bees that assist in the pollination is a sought after organic and high demand product.
A Millettia Super Intensive crop can sequestrate as much as 50 tonnes of Co2 per hectare, per year, this means that our plantations qualify for carbon credits at the plantation stage as well as at the oil production stage and even more so at the oil to Electrical power conversion.
We are presently trialling Technology to convert the seedcake and prunings into valuable Bio Cellulite and Bio Herbicide which will provide the opportunity for even higher returns in the years ahead.
